  Question About Text Overlay ~Vegas 4

  Okay,
  Now I have all my clips put together and edited the way I like them, but I would like to add some subtitles which will appear at the bottom of the screen as people are talking in my video. How do you go about doing this? When I try to add text, it appears as a seperate frame with a colored background, all I want is a few words to appear on the bottom of the screen as the video is running, in other words, I want a movie clip to be the background. There probably is a simple way of doing this that I am just overlooking.

  Add a new video track ABOVE all the other tracks. Put the text on that new track.

  Take a look through my newsletters where I talk about things like creating lower thirds and using text generated media.
