added Text ..shows black instead of picture
Trying to lay a text over a picture and it just shows black….?? How do i fix this problem

You could have BLACK text and a BLACK background.

no the text shows up but I want it to be over a picture on the line below…but it doesnt show picture just text and the FX

Are you adding Legacy Text or Titles and Text?
Either way, are you adding the Default option? -

Yes. That’s the one. Here’s what my preview window looks like after I drop it over top of an animation and add an outline to my text.
