  Adjust quality of proxy?

  I’ve recently started using Vegas 12’s built in “Create Video Proxy” feature for 4K footage. It works well, except the proxy it builds is of such low quality that I can barely tell what is going on, much less if a shot is in focus or not. Is there any way to adjust the quality of the proxy that it builds? I’d like to have an HD proxy if possible.

  Can you confirm that VP12 has been conformed for high quality 4K Proxies? It may be, but I don’t know. Is there a way to increase the quality? Are you using the auto lower Preview rate in “Preview”? Maybe your system is up to specification or deal with this process? You need to give a bit more information.
