Get rid of AVG Windows Scanner…
Ready to render my 80 min movie and every time I watched the movie the AVG Windows Scanner begins and then ends a few mins later. My preview window doesn’t always match up. Can/Should I get rid of the message. In other words I want to render my movie without pop-up type distractions?
    Thanks
    Rob

Use integrated Windows Defender, and then run Malware-bytes about once a month. If you stay off dirt bag site you should not have a problem. Windows Defender has really low overhead compared to other AV software.

I use to use AVG at one time but I removed it. It’s just too invasive. Use Windows Defender and Malware-bytes.

If you don’t use the computer on-line there is no reason to have an intrusive virus scanner that runs all of the time. Like I said, I’ve removed all of them and just use the built-in Windows Defender.
