Modern Family intro video
I’m working on an video that is based on the style of the Modern Family tv show intro (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koVKBtx3ZUw).
I’ve gotten almost to the end, using the BCC corner pin plugin to motion track photos/videos to stay within the picture frames.
What I can’t seem to get right is the ending… Does anyone have any advice on how to flip the picture frame at the end to flip a photo to stay within the frame the whole time?

If you have Boris Continuum Complete, you could extrude a real 3D picture and rotate it. Take a look at my Boris TV episode where I show you how to do this at around 10:30 into the video:

What I see from the into is more plane tracking with something like Mocha. Hitfilm is sort of Mocha lite, not sure if maybe that would do as well.
In Vegas:
Basically I just see a key framed track motion effect with perspective to keep the scaled image inside the frame.
Then just keep repeating that effect using a still frame at a certain keyframe to convert the video into the still photo frame.
The zoom out is pretty much the same track motion effect done to each progressive scene. Aligning your frames from the previous scene is the magic here.
Shooting 4K and rendering to 1080p would allow you to do the zoom out without pixelating.
Shooting your actors holding a framed green card with tracking markers would be the easiest way to track later in Mocha. Then you just put the tracked video in place of the green area. Point tracking software will be much easier than hand key framing in Vegas the camera movement and hand holding of the frame movements.
There is no point tracking in Vegas, but Blender, after effects, and Mocha all have point/plane tracking. Mocha is probably the most industry standard.

Yea, the Mocha planner tracker could do this using perspective tracking.

Yes, I think Mocha is what I need to automate this process. In any event, it was a very short transition that was giving me problems so I ended up keyframing it manually.
