  Odd Question Screen Capture 2-5-16

  Does anyone know if I am screen capturing for LiveStream from my Vegas timeline program monitor, does the screen resolution of capture monitor matter for the quality of the capture or is it actually Electronic to Electronic EtoE?

  The capture is going to be at the screen resolution so it does matter. if the delivery is in a standard format (i.e., 1920×1080 or 1280×720) then your capture is going to get resized and probably look blurry if your screen capture isn’t at the same resolution. It’s best to capture at the same resolution that you will deliver in. All of my Boris TV episodes are screen captured at 1280×720 and delivered at 1280×720 and the delivery looks as good as the live screen. When I do a Boris Webinar, I have to run the capture at the full resolution of my display and it definitely comes out blurry when delivered at a lower resolution.

  John THANK YOU! So I should change the program monitor to 1280×720 though it is 1920×1080 for editing at this point, then after the program plays and streams go back to 1920×1080 for editing? just want to make sure I understood.
