  Encoding original footage 50p to 25p with 1/50 shutter speed

  Can someone help me …

  I shoot in 50p (1/50 shutter speed), then render in Vegas to 25p. After rendering shutter speed will be the same 1/50 or 1/25 ?

  Your shutter speed will stay the same. After the fact, your conversion from 50p to 25p will be just dropping every other frame. Effectively showing each remaining frame twice as long for the one second duration. Does that make sense?
