I used DVD architect with Vegas for about 6 years and it was very dependable.
It’s been 6 years since I’ve used it and I’m asking if it has changed much.
Apple and Adobe dropped their authoring software so I’m shopping around. I did like the ability to move from photoshop into som nice menu solutions.
    Has DVDA improved much thx

Not sure which version you left off at but it’s up to 6.0 now and has been at that for three years.
Like a lot of other SCS products though, it’s no longer being supported 🙁
The biggest change was the ability to author Blu-ray discs (DVDA Pro 5.0 in 2009).
There have been other minor improvements but I don’t use them so I can’t remember what they were.

    It was DVDA 4.5
You said it is no longer supported? Is it not included in the newest release of Vegas?

I’m pretty. Sure I saw it for sale as a stand alone product on songs site.

DVD authoring is still very important to a lot of businesses.

“No longer supported” was a poor choice of words. Yes it’s still for sale but it’s been version 6. for three years with not even a hint of anything better to come. Read into that what you want.
