Android Phone Clips and frame rate
hi guys I’m new here and have a question. Im trying to make a DVD (PAL) by editing some clips into a small movie taken on an android phone. After I have my project movie down I will use a DVD authoring programme t burn it to DVD.
Problem is the phones shoots them in Variable Frame rate and when I convert my Vegas project to 25FPS it very jerky looking where there is motion.
Is there any way I can fox this or make it look smoother?

They are family clips of home movies ect taken on my phone.
Here is the media info of one of the clips they are all in Variable frame rate format as that’s what the phone records in. The ones that are around 25 are fine as when I use 25fps pal settings they play ok its just these one like the one below that give the jerky playback and it really ruins the footage to be honest. any help would be great and thanks again in advanced.

One thing I would try is a velocity envelope to adjust the frame rate where necessary. It may generate some missing frames to smooth things a bit. It may not work, but I would try it.

sorry guys but Im not that advanced with video editing yet lol! what is XDCAM-EX and how do I convert to it?

I did try both the velocity and the XDCAM but the velocity the clips is too fast and still choppy and the XDCAM is just the same as when I edit it in mp4 format. -
Ok guys can there is bound to be someone in the world who takes clips with either iPhone or android (HTC ONE Specifically) and edits theme into short family movies with the option then to burn to DVD (PAL) for family members??????
I really need to try to come up with a solution to smooth out this jerkiness I have tried to keep all clips at and vegas project settings at 30fps. This has helped out a lot as when i use convertxdvd to make a NTSC DVD instead of a pal version the frame rate matches and my home DVD players will play both pal and ntsc discs.
The only problem in Vegas is that most of my clips are around 30fps (Varaiable) and some are 25fps (Variable), now before i was making my whole project 25 pal which meant it was frame dropping to match and gives the jerky playback in final render. The reason for this was I dod not know my dvd players would play a ntsc disc.
so I tried the opposite which was making my project 30fps ntsc in vegas and burning the final render to ntsc disc which keeps playback smooth but where the 25 fps clips are inserted I get choppy playback so I cant win either way.
also would i be better using handbrake to keep frame rate of each clip constant before i put them into vegas or can vegas handle better with the raw footage directly from phone???
