    Hi!
I’m doing some animations for a website. The website looks like a painting and has brush strokes on every object. The designer used brush strokes in Photoshop to create the look and feel (example).
Now I have to animate the sea. I was thinking of using fractal noise with brush strokes and colorama to get the color palette. This is what I have so far: example. Colors need to be tweaked as well, but that’s not the problem here.
My “sea” doesn’t really look brushy at all. Has anyone got a clue to get the look and feel of the first example out of AE?

    Thanks in advance!

Try with “VideoGog” plug-in from Re Vision.

Thanks a lot for your tip Maxi! It’s works really great! But unfortunately I can’t use this plug-in. I’m kinda tight on budget… So is there a way to work this out without the use of 3rd party plug-ins?

    Thanks a lot!
