  AE CS4 wants to render each time I make an adjustment.

  AE CS4 wants to render each time I make an adjustment. It srubs through my file and comes up with a dialogue for the output location. It happens in any project. Please help!

  Win or Mac? Which AE version?
  Is it possible that you have the num lock key on in your keyboard? Could you try using a different keyboard and see if it goes away?
  I saw a couple of posts from people with the same problem, and it does seem keyboard related.

  Windows, CS4, 9.0.0.161039. My Num Lock was indeed on, but disabling it did not solve the error. Switching keyboards didn’t help either. I’ve used AE a bunch and it worked fine, but then today I opened it up and have been getting this pesky message.
