  Vegas Pro 13 Rendered Fill Will Not Show Up

  I am rendering a video that is about 4:30 long in Vegas. It is .mp4, and the res of 1280×720.

  I have no idea what is going on, but I can render, and it renders fine, but when it is done, it will not show up on my desktop (I rendered again, making certain that it was being sent there, and still nothing). I have tried to right click and hit refresh and everything.

  I tried it one last time, and when it was finished the three buttons at the bottom, Open, Open Folder, and Close, the Open was disabled. When I clicked open folder, it took me to desktop in Explorer, but it is not there.

  I have no idea what is going on, but the .tmp and .sfk files show up, just not the final rendered product.

  If you find that after the render, you get a “*****.tmp” file, try renaming it to “*****.mp4”. I get this occasionally and renaming it works for me.

  Try saving to a folder in your Documents instead of the desktop.
