  Can one Cancel Peak Building for ONE file only? or Force peak building for other?

  Vegas has had a problem with M2TS format for a while in my history, it never imported the audio so what I do is use Avidemux to rip out the audio and import it separately but that’s not the problem. I got a new computer and suddenly Vegas started importing audio for M2TS, however third of the way of building peaks, Vegas Crashes. So No Biggie, I just hit cancel when it starts building peaks and I already import audio separately. The big problem is that when I click cancel on peak building I also cancel it for all the voice over and music files that are yet to process.

  So – is it possible to either manually tell Vegas to build peaks for the other files or to cancel peak building for that the one file?

  HP XW8200
  Intel Xeon (2 single processors)
  4GB DDR3 memory
  Nvidia Gforce Gt 220
