  • Can’t adjust opacity to multiple photos

Posted by Michael Trotter on March 18, 2015 at 9:30 am

Apparently I’ve Selected multiple photos (200+) and set their opacity to 0%
Now that I want to put the opacity to 100% again,
I can’t seem to do it since only one photo’s opacity is being changed

    I noticed that from 100% – 0% it works
    But the 0% doesn’t work

How do I change all of the 0% to 100%?

Did you re-select all 200+ pictures before attempting to make the change?

I’m missing it. How are you changing a photo’s opacity? I know about opacity envelopes, but it does not sound like that is what you are doing. If you are using an Fx, copy the event with the Fx. Then select all the other events (photos). Right click and select Paste Event Attributes.

You should be able to select all photos (Right click > Select Events to End)
Then drag from the bottom of the first clip to bring the opacity back up.
With all of them selected it will apply to all clips.
Let me know if that works. Thanks!

I’m trying to change all of them but even choosing 3 or 5 or all of them, it still doesn’t work. I have tried everything

It works well with the other photos on my project,
    Like this one,

But after I put them in 0% opacity, they don’t change at the same time anymore.

    Looks like a bug…

It does look like one. The Vasst Fasst App Audit Assistant plug-in has the option to “Force All Opacity to x %”. Seems to work even if all opacity was changed to 0 %. Maybe Vegasaur has similar options as well?

Michael, if you need a fast solution – install Vegasaur (free trial) and use Quick Properties tool to reset the opacity:

    Thanks!
That worked, and I finished just in time.
