    Hi!

When you install a Sony Vegas plug-in do you see its presets displayed in the presets browser, which is in the videofx tab? I need to know it because I have installed a plug-in and all I can see in the videofx tab in something called “basic” and I need to drag that to my even. Its presets are available only when the “customize preset”/”load preset” is clicked on. Am I doing something wrong? Would be wonderful to see all available presets in videofx tab. It’s so time-consuming to load each preset one by one to see which one looks best for my footage.

    Thank you,
    Ellen

    Hi,

Usually all presets are displayed by default on the “Preset:” pane of the Video FX tab, so the only thing you have to do to display presets is to select the appropriate plugin in the Video FX list.

Where is the “customize preset”/”load preset” button or checkbox you mention located?

    Best regards,
    Frédéric

OK, those presets are never going to show up in Vegas Pro because that plug-in is bypassing Vegas’ presets and using it’s own mechanism. See the Preset dropdown ABOVE the plug-in? Those are the presets that Vegas Pro will show on the Video FX tab. The presets you set INSIDE the plug-ins cannot be seen by Vegas Pro.
