  Best file type for Sony Vegas 10

  Looks like I will be using Sony Vegas 10 for the first time this year. I will probably use StreamClip to convert my media files. What would be the best codec to use? Something that is easy to edit and doesn’t take up too much room.

  Any gotchas with Vegas 10?

  Why do you think you need to convert your video files? You should probably try your files in Vegas before deciding that they need to be converted. Do not install any codec packs.
