  Rendering “completes”, but video file is never made

  Hi, I’m having an issue I’ve never encountered before.

  I created a very simple video with all pictures or jpeg files for a local event. I render the video and it completes in about 5 minutes and says 100%, but never gives me the option to open the file. In the folder I tell Vegas to render to there is a xxxx.mp4.tmp file.

  Any clue how to fix this? I need a file type that can be put onto a jump drive then displayed from a tv.

  Its possible the end video is being rendered in a location you are
  not aware of. Restart your system and in the Render As dialogue box,
  make sure the Output File folder location is set to your Desktop.

  When you click on “Render” a box opens and as it is rendering you need to make sure the “Close this box when rendering completes” is Un-ticked and then when it is finished you get the option to Open the finished video
