    Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to control the amount of bend/warp you can get with the CC Cylinder effect? Right now the entire 2D image is rolling around the cylinder, while I just want a slight bend.

I apologize if this is something easily done; I can’t seem to find it.

    Thanks

not within the effect itself, but you can place the image into another comp, bring that comp into another comp and apply cc cylinder. now you can go back and scale the image within the nested comp to effect how the image is wrapped around the cylinder.

i just thought of another way you can try to cheat it. add the grow bounds effect prior to the cc cylinder effect.

grow bounds will effectively allow you to change the size of the image before cc cylinder wraps it (which is what i was describing by using a nested comp).

Grow Bounds effect works very well Kevin, as I can freely manipulate the Cylinder width, without having to undo it.

    Thank you much!
