  Strange issue with ProRes V13

  I just noticed something while editing our TV show…. the files that come from the network are 1920 x 1080 x 24, 29.970 Apple ProRes 422. When I make a cut, the newly split media now has one frame of black when I scroll through the clip slowly. The previous clip has video throughout, just the head of the new clip has the issue. 1 frame may seem insignificant, but I can definitely see it. Any suggestions?

  I have one Blackmagic UHD 24p Prores file I had downloaded. It did not exhibit your problem. Project settings matched source.

  I encoded a 30sec 1080p29.97 Prores file with ffmpeg and it did not exhibit your problem. Project settings matched source.

  I advanced frame by frame and saw no black frame.

  I forgot to mention that my Quicktime version is 7.7.4.
