    Guys,

I’m sure this is an inexperience issue but I would appreciate any help. I work primarily in Final Cut Pro 6.0. I have a Mac Pro 1,1 with 2.66GHz dual processor w 4 GB Ram. I capture footage via an AJA Kona LHe card to Final Cut using 10 bit Apple Pro res settings. I don’t use AE much but want to do a chromakey spot in it because I like the Keyer much better than the one I have in Final Cut. When I import the pro res footage directly into AE it is all greenish hash. I assume it is a codec issue but don’t know how to fix it.

    Thanks for any help

    Roy

It’s all on the same machine.

I’ll give it a try. I do know that our graphic artist imports my footage directly to his Mac G5 via fiber optic network and has no problems. He has a Cinewave card but we gave him the Pro-res HQ codec and it works for him fine in AE. Another editor with the same programs I have but on a G5 with a Kona LH capture card has no problems in AE either.
