  MJPEG render time

  hey all , sorry to be a pain but im new to recording and sony vegas and im recording gameplay videos and commentary. i experimented with loads of codecs but tadh stutter etc even though the game ran smooth as eggs while recording so now iv decided as i have the HD space to uuse mjpeg codec and then just render them in vegas.

  im recording in

  1920×1080
  30 fps
  quality 80 out of 1000
  motion jpeg

  im useing the sony vegas render template “internet hd 1080p” and leaving all settings alone except for the cuda setting.my question is for 35 minutes of a gameplay clip it takes around 1 hohur 30 minutes to render.is this normal? should i change the bitrates or? my spec are

  AMD FX 8350 8 CORE 4.3 GHZ
  8 GB 1600 MHZ RAM
  GTX 670 FTW EDITION 2 GB

  is this rendering time normal or are some of my settings just pointless and i could match them to speed up encoding and rendering time? am i doing anything wrong? thanks i advance i really appreicate it guys 🙂

  That render time sounds about right.

  is the variable bit rate of max 24,000,000 and avergage of 12,000,000 ok for the settings im useing?

  That time sounds quite normal.
  You dont necessarily have to fiddle with the bit rate settings.

  Many of my renders takes longer than that, lol
  So be happy, lol
