Has anyone tried to export Sony Vegas 12 project to Avid as AAF? I have a few issues with this workflow:

    – some channels of multichannel wave files are sometimes offline
    – some random standard clips are offline
    – slow motion clips (50fps) are always offline
    – jpg files in Sony Vegas timeline make it impossible for Avid to import AAF

Has anyone been succesfull with this or encountered similar obstacles?

    thanks

Overall, Vegas has not yet perfected these cross platform export formats.

I’ve wanted to use this this but have avoided it. I just gave it a test and for my purposes it looks like it might work. All my HDV footage audio was exported with handles. Oddly a stereo audio file that was in a different location didn’t. ( I suppose I could have relinked)
I like it for cleaning up camera audio, but I guess it’s not ready for prime time yet.
