Deleting video section
How do I select and delete a section from the middle of a video? Does split allow more than one marker? Thanks.

Split the beginning and end of the section you want deleted, hit delete, and that’s all there is to it. You can put as many markers as you want by pressing “M” on the timeline, but the way you’re asking makes it sound like you may be getting at something else.

Sorry, wrong nomenclature. I’ve only been using a couple of weeks. I am lapping up tutorials and webinars, so I won’t waste anyone’s time. Sometimes I just need a quick and dirty answer. Thanks.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I really do appreciate your time. Sometimes after a long session I just get frustrated.
Also, since I’m also using Sound Forge 11 a lot, I can get the two user interfaces confused.

I also have Sound Forge here, but the only thing I use it for is the Noise Reduction tool. Everything else I do with Vegas.
