  I cannot import nested timelines

  Every time I attempt to import a timeline .veg file my Vegas 10 program freezes. Any idea what the problem might be?

  Try this first: Save work and reboot PC.

  If the veg file that you are embedding has missing media could lock up the process. Open the veg files in separate instances of Vegas and purge (lightning bolt) the unused media from the Project Media.

  Also, are all the veg files from the same version of Vegas? If the embedded veg file is from a newer version of Vegas, it won’t work.

  You mean open up a project, do some work on it, then save and exit, then reboot computer…and then what?
