  Please revisit “Master audio metering level shows nothing” thread

  Same horrible thing just happened to me, right as I was about to do the final render.

  I posted my comment in the original thread, but created this post to refer to it.

  Somebody knows what happened … I have been struggling for 1/2 hour, and DONT want to resort to a reboot to “fix” it.

  I just answered it in the other thread. You turned on automation by accident. That’s why the fader changed to a gear to show you it was on. All you needed to do was turn it back off.
