  Migrating from Pro 10 to Pro 12

  Hello,

  As I was having constant crashes with Vegas Pro 10, I asked for and got upgraded to Vegas Pro 12.
  It works just fine, and does not crash on the renders I was having issues with.
  While Pro 12 looks very similar to Pro 11, there are, however, some glitches that I cannot find a way to work around, especially in the explorer tab.
  First one is that the position and size of columns and their sort orders are not saved and restored when I start Vegas the next time.
  Second one is that Vegas insists on using US date/time display format while my regional settings are the ones for Australia. So it’s installed in English, but it should use DD/MM/YYYY HH:nn:ss when it uses MM/DD/YYYY hh:nn:ss AP

  Both of these worked in v10, and I must be missing something obvious, but I can’t figure a way to have it back to what I was used to in v10 in v12.
  Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

  Vegas Pro 12 Build770 Vegas Explorer doesn’t reveal the DD/MM/YYYY format, only the MM/DD/YYYY format. Yes, in a mixed release of builds of VP10 & VP12 this was the case, but not any longer. SONY knows this and I’ve raised it with them directly.

  Yes, this is an issue with Vegas 12.

  I looked on the hidden Internal tab on Preferences and did not see anything about the date format. There is a cryptic time format, defaults to “8” . Kind of afraid to mess with that.

  Stephen, I’ve been in touch with SCS directly, and it is solely the programming used for Vegas Explorer, and this ISN’T the same for the other Panes: Project Media and Media Manager. Also, this has changed from version to version AND inter-Bulds within the same Vegas release.
