November 23, 2013 at 2:38 pmIf it ain’t broken……….Lol. I took the the plunge, dropped in my update, windows would not load, had to restore to previous version. I made another attempt and my install crashed again, didn’t even get it to start, got a SVP 12 770 stopped working. Anyone else had issues?

November 23, 2013 at 4:22 pmVegas 770 opens normally for me. The project also opened fine. I could import an AAF file from Premiere with no problems. I start editing know and will let you know if the update gives me problems.

November 23, 2013 at 5:02 pmThanks Theo,
did you do the 765 update before the 770? I went straight to the 770, maybe that’s the issue? shouldn’t think so but……LesterM

November 23, 2013 at 7:34 pmHi Guys,
Thanks for the update notice. I downloaded it today and received a message stating the 765 has already been downloaded. I tried again and finally downloaded the update. So far no issues. I wonder why another update(770) came so soon after the 765 update. Make sure your not running Sony Vegas Pro while trying to update, close Vegas then download and reopen Vegas .

The 765 update was pulled after release. A change to Mainconcpet AVC GPU encoding in CPU only mode to allow PCM audio output caused a bug with GPU encoding which still only supported AAC audio.
They pulled 765, removed the change to allow PCM audio and released 770.

November 26, 2013 at 4:33 amBuild 770 is working fine here. I just created a new Boris TV episode on Saturday which was a 1/2 hr of tweaking BCC Particle Array 3D, BCC Film Glow, and BCC Glint and I didn’t save once and didn’t have a single hiccup. It all worked fine.
