I have two layers in a comp both same size. I apply card dance to the 1st and set the back layer to the 2nd.
When offset y rotation 180° in card dance effect the back layer reveals itself to be split into sections that do not make up the image but rather slices of it out of order.
Shouldn’t offsetting rotation 180° simply reveal the back layer in it’s entirety?
Or is something wrong with the effect?

Actually what you see/experience is correct. If you think about it in the real 3d world… you have a 2 sided poster, with images on both sides. If you slice them up into columns and rotate each individual columns 180 degrees, the “back” image will look like as if each column would positioned in the “wrong” way – even though they are correct.

To accomplish what you want to do correctly, use the Card Wipe transition effect, not Card Dance.
