    I am recording in 1440×1080. Have a Sony HDR FX-7. To create a Blue Ray disk,Should I be rendering to AVCHD 1440×1080 60i, Blue Ray 1440×1080 8mbps, Blue Ray 1440×1080 25 mbps?
I film sporting events that range from 40-60 minutes. I use DVD Architect Pro 6. Same thing with creating Blue Ray. A few different choices. Thanks,
    Mark

You should use Blue Ray 1440×1080 25 mbps. This matches the format that your Sony FX7 shoots.

Thanks John. One more question. I often film in HD-and burn a DVD from it.I have been capturing to Vegas 12 in HD-and when I render in Mpeg-2 format-I get some blurry issues. Is there another rendering setting I should be using? I tried a bunch, and made a m2t file. Seemed better. Any idea’s? Thanks, Mark

Make sure that you are rendering with the Best setting. The default setting is Good which is fine for rendering to the same format but going from HD to SD requires resizing and Best will use a more accurate resize algorithm that should make it less blurry. You can change this in your Project Properties.
