  No audio waveform

  Hello.
  Ive lost the audio function on AE 6.5;
  Importing WAV file and I can see the wave form in the display top left,but when i drag wav file down to time line and open wav form all i get is two horizontal lines and no wave form,also there is no sound.this is recent because it was working up to two weeks ago.
  Tried all other AE aceptable formats but same result.
  Any help would be really appreciated as I cant attatch the voice overs now.
