  Lost PMB

  Hi. I have a Sony HDR SR12. My son recently updated my computer to windows 8 and uploaded Movie studio 12 from Movie studio 9 that I had. When I went to upload movies onto my computer I couldn’t because “Picture Motion Browser” did not open to import the movies for me. I’ve been reading that PMB is not compatible with Windows 8 and that I need to upload a different Utility ( forget the name of it) Will it be compatible with my older camera?

  Thanks I had already read the first link but it did not answer my question.. Do I need to update my PMB to Play memories? I don’t need blue ray (stuff), I just need to be able to import my movies onto my computer.
  PMB does not seem to be on my computer anymore so I can’t update it to the 5.8 something. When I go to the sony site to download pmb, it asks me for my operating system but doesn’t allow me to enter windows 8. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. And being relatively daft about such things I need someone to tell me to do A and then B in order to get C.. I really don’t know what to do here… in fact its amazing I can create DVD’s at all. Please?
