DVD-A Ensuring Maximum Playability
Hey all,
I have a project being delivered to a group of people who’s ages average around 50-65 years old. I may be making a huge assumption here but I’m guessing at least a few (if not more) of them have older DVD players.
I tried to play an earlier 8 Mbps proof DVD in one of my old players and it didn’t read, but it plays in many of my newer players (which also double as Blue Ray players )
The DVD isn’t being burnt as blue ray , it’s bit rate has been downgraded to 3.631 Mbps due to space requirements with the extras they wanted on it.
Does anyone foresee problems at that particular bitrate (3.631 Mbps) playing on “legacy” players, I’m just checking with you all before I print 100. I do not have access to my “legacy” player at the moment to check. I had thought 6 Mbps was the safe rate but I’m doubting my memory at the moment.
