if you put it on 720p you can see it when the camera moves some really bad pixel blurs. the resample is disabled..and the render turn out the same, i recorded the game in 30fps the setting are on 30fps and so is the render

May 25, 2013 at 2:20 pmSorry I don’t see any pixel blurs. You’re going to need to be more specific about what you are seeing and where.

May 25, 2013 at 8:28 pmwell they are not quite pixel blurs.. its more like motion blur.. when i move the camera to left or right. its kinda screws up the graphic,
here is a different example.. watch it in HD and see it your self when i move from left to right it kinda blurs out the graphic
even people in the comments are saying it looks horrible

I guess it’s hard for me to see without knowing what the original footage looked like. The pans do look jumpy. It could be that the bit-rate that you are encoding at is too slow to capture the fast motion. Try increasing your bit-rate and see if that helps. Also using a variable bit-rate will dedicate more bits to the frames that need them.

Yea, but they are complaining about the stretched screen resolution. That’s something else entirely.

May 27, 2013 at 11:25 amYour problem is that you are capturing at an aspect ratio of 4:3 and then resizing and rendering to an aspect of 16:9. That’s why your video looks squashed. You need to either capture at 16:9 or render at 4:3 for it to look correct.

I think that looks a lot clearer than the swashed 1280 by 720 version.

Try the MainConcept AVC encoder instead of Sony’s. Use the Internet HD 1080p template and press the Customize Template… button and check the Two-Pass option under VBR. This should give you really good results.
