  Problem with Sony Vegas 12.0 Preview Window Flickering.

  Hello, I’m new to this forum.
  I’m occurring some big problems, and trust me I’ve googled for least 2 hours now without any results.

  So here’s my problem:
  I import a “.Mp4” movie shot from my mobile to Sony Vegas 12 – works fine and everything.
  Then I press “Play” and looks to the preview window, and it’s all flickering, black and white.
  Then I thought, “Hey, perhaps I need the codecs” and also downloaded them, still no luck. Eventually I tried another format, “.WMV” still, same kind of flicker.

  Now I’ve never experienced this kind of problem with Sony Vegas in years and this is really bugging me out and making me go crazy.

  Please help, thanks in advance!

  I hope you didn’t load the Klite codec package. If you have, you will be better off uninstalling them and then re-installing Vegas. (See past threads on installing that package).
  Vegas has all the codecs it needs for the formats it will edit. Possibly what is coming off your mobile is a non-standard format.
