Hey folks, I’m editing a project where I want to rotate a stock lazer blast clip on a black background using the 3D Source Alpha compositing mode in Vegas 12, but I also want to be able to make that track have the “Add” compositing property. Essentially, I want to be able to move that video in a 3D space to give it perspective, and then remove all the black around it. I am aware I can just do it in a 3D Source Alpha mode, render that out, and then use the video again in Add compositing mode, but there should be an easier way, right?

So it there any way to use transparency effects (add, dodge, subtract, hard light, screen, overlay, etc.) on a 3D Source Alpha track?
