Green Screen Chromakey in Vegas

Is there a “really good” 3rd party Chroma Keyer for Vegas 12? The one that comes with Vegas has always been limited. I use Keylight in After Affects, but would like to not make the “round trip” to/from Vegas. Boris? Another?

New Blue FX have a Chroma Keyer plug-in and it has been recently unbundled from their Video Essentials 6 (I think).
Have not yet tried it.

I agree the NewBlue ChromaKey Pro in Video Essentials VI does a great job. As was mentioned, NewBlue is starting to make their plugins available ala carte and Chroma Key Pro is one of the first offerings. Just go to https://www.newbluefx.com/offers/unbundled and you can scroll over to Chroma Key Pro and purchase that single effect or you can purchase the entire VE6 package. Look for more products to be offered individually in the future!

I installed the Newbluefx VI bundle and surprised to see how well the chromakey pro works. Easy to use and the entire package was discounted almost 40 bucks for some reason. I bought it for the picture grid but happy with the rest of the effects. Color replace works like a snap.

Incredible and efficient package of tools they have, but its the
new fully GPU dependable feature that can at times be problematic
for some users.
