How well does Sony Vegas Pro 12 work in Windows 8 Pro?

Vegas Pro 8 may work on Windows 8 as you have it Donald,
but you may run in compatibility issues down the road.

hi sir (Mr.Steve Rhoden)

Is window 8 stable for Svp 12 now,my new motherboard (ASUS) comes with window 8 but i still use window 7 64bit.Can i change to window 8.

Well Thayalan, windows 8 offers no advantage in editing over
windows 7, but if you want to, its kinda ok now.
But for me personally, ill simply keep using Windows 7.

Thanks Steve, I am playing on getting a new computer. Just wondering if I should get windows 8 or xp with windows 7? As I look at the situation. It looks as if I am going to have to upgrade everything I got. Its more than just going and buying a new computer.

Upgrading everything you got is always a strain, but its the best
thing to do in the long run Donald….Nothing beats the
satisfaction afterwards….lol
