  • Sony Vegas 12 – getting rid of the trim start/end?

This problem has been constantly annoying me ever since I upgraded to Sony Vegas 12.

My mouse is a bit defective, which means sometimes it will double click when I don’t want it to.

Anyways, when you double click on a track layer now in Sony Vegas 12, you get the annoying new feature of the trim start/end as indicated by the red and yellow lines around the clip.

How do you just go back to editing as you normally would before?

I unchecked the “expand track layer,” but the red & yellow lines are still around the clip and the whole track is greyed out.
