spectral layers question
I’m working with spectral layers. On most programs, by double clicking on the area in which I’m working the cursor (The triangle on the picture) will snap to the location I’m working on but it does not.
The circle with the crosshairs is where I’m actually working and you would think that double clicking, the cursor (triangle) would snap or move to that area but it doesn’t.
It’s a pain because when I try to preview, it starts the preview where the cursor is and not where I’m working which is what I need. I know about the tab button but that doesn’t help as it previews once again at the cursor and not where I want to view my corrections.I hope someone can decipher my thoughts here. It’s hard to put into words.

I just finished talking with Grazie and he suggested that I use Izotope instead of Spectral Layers and as he pointed out it’s much easier to use. I was really struggling with Sprectral Layers. Think I’ll stay with Izotope. Thanks Grazie.

Glad I was in a position to suggest it. – And yes, iZo is dead easy – I only do easy . . . Beyond that I get bored – lol!

You can select the Time Cursor Icon in the toolbar as shown.

Hi Roger,
You can set the cursor to any position by moving the mouse cursor at the top of the spectral view, a time cursor bar will appear.
Otherwise you can also use the shortcut for the time cursor tool (c). -
