I am recording Basketball from my DVR @ 720p/60 fps, I already know the settings for blu-ray but I need to know the “BEST & HIGHEST QUALITY” for DVD settings. Thanks for your help.

You encode your MPEG file in Vegas using the DVDA template. Us a bitrate calculator to get your min-average-max bitrates and encode VBR.

You are making a DVD, right?
You put the recorded media on the Vegas timeline then in the “Render As” menu you encode a Main Concept MPEG-2, use the appropriate DVD Architect template and click on “Customize Template” to adjust your bitrates.
