  Using John Rofrano’s Split Event in conjunction with the MACRO on CSP – the Video!

  OK, I’ve always been intrigued in getting a very simple, straightforward and less time consuming L and J cut option for Vegas.

  Here’s a video of the results. ALL the steps are in the sequence used on the MACRO Function of the CSP.

  Move cursor to OUT Position

  Click 1 : Splits the Event ( using jr’s script)

  Move cursor to IN Position

  Click 2 : Splits the Event ( again, jr’s script)

  Click 3 : Ungroup

  Mouse Click on the middle portion to be deleted and mouse select middle section

  Click 4 : Del

  Click 5: Regroup

  Done!

  So, 5 Clicks using the SAME CSP Button and I have a GAP created in the Video Event and it remains Grouped.

  Grazie, what am I missing? What is the script doing here? Can’t I do the same 5 clicks using the “s” key for splits?

  All one the same Button, here CSP, does the jr thing AND sequences UNGROUP, DELETE and then REGROUP. All on the exact same button!
