Vegas Pro 12 Does Not Work!!!
I’ve never had an issues with any Vegas upgrades since Vegas Pro 8. I just loaded the latest version of Vegas Pro 12 and it does not work at all. As soon as I try to do anything in the interface it locks and the computer crashes.
Am I the only one?

How did you upgrade? Did you deinstall and reinstall? Did you try to install over the existing installation?

This was a clean/new install of Vegas pro 12 on a new computer. In the process (long story short) it seems the brand new Quadro 4000 card is faulty. As you enter the NVIDIA Panel the panel locks and computer freezes and all goes black then reboots itself. Same with different drivers. It was tested with another Q4000 card before shipping to me and worked/tested just fine. And I thought PNY was a good brand!

PNY is a good brand (it’s what my Quadro 4000 card is) but even good brands get bad components sometimes. Glad you figure out what it was.
