BluRay and DVD authoring in Architect
My question is will one of these methods give me a better quality DVD?
In SVP12 I render out the video for bluray. In Architect I set it up to burn a BR. In Architect it renders it again, and I have my BR.
If a customer says, I want a DVD copy, I use the same Architect project but change the settings for a DVD copy. In Architect it renders it again for DVD.
The other method I have used in the past is to go back to the actual SVP file and render it for DVD such as DVD NTSC widescreen. Then open a new project in Architect and burn the DVD. In that scenario Architect does not have to render the video.
I noticed when I used my BR rendered footage and then rerendered in Architect the file size as larger… I am assuming that means better quality? Yes or No?
Any thoughts on this?
