    Hi all,

We’ve been busy over the last 4 months of motion graphics type videos so have been using the Adobe suite. We do have 2 seats of Vegas Pro 11 though and I was just wondering if it’s worth upgrading? Also any other opinions on VP 12?

Steve, one last question. We’ve just got our Atomos Ninja 2’s in, does VP12 support ProRes?

Vegas does not support ProRes without adding a codec. I believe that ProRes is proprietary to Apple, but my understanding is that the QuickTime codec will handle it in Vegas. You may also want to try the Avid DNxHD – a free download from Avid

Itony costs you time to try it. the Vegas demo is free and ehe codecs are free.

Thanks Steve. I’ll look into the Avid codec as well.
