I have a TV show that is broadcast in 16:9. It is a talk show and usually have two talking heads side by side in 4:3 respectively. Think CNN. One is me and the other via Skype. The show is taped.

I always put a white border around the edge of each talking head. Here’s the problem:

when I insert the border effect and add it to the cropped 4:3 image the border ends up framing in 16:9.

doesn’t matter if it is inserted into the track or the video event. It also makes no difference if I put the border before or after the pan/crop effect in the effects page.

    any suggestions? Pro 12 BTW

also you can see what I am going for here: https://www.nightfrightshow.com

I had seen this before in version 11 and it appears in version 12 too. Try rotating the the frame just slightly 0.1 degrees and the border to snap to the frame as it should. Originally we reported this where it worked if you flip the picture horizontally in Pan Crop.
