  Time Sensitive Issue: Audio Low on Rendered MP4

  Hi – I have a 30 second commercial for broadcast. Specs are for h.264 QT, but from research here, I’ve learned that AVC/MP4 is the same thing, so that’s what I’ve made. It looks great, but the audio is much lower than in the Vegas project. I also rendered as a QT with the MP4 option but that .mov file is low volume also. However, I rendered an m2ts file and not only does it look wonderful, but the volume is right up there.

  Any thoughts? I need to deliver this to stations tomorrow.

  Some more info – tis seems to only happen thru WMP – if I drop the files in vegas – they all play the same level. Why do they play different levels in WMP?

  Simply adjust the DB level of your audio track on the left side of the timeline.

  WMP is not always the best player to use to review video. Have you tried something like the VLC Media Player?
