Sony Vegas 11 Video Import Problem
I have an HDPVR to record gameplay and when I go to select and edit it in SV11 the video won’t show up. The audio works perfectly but in the video timeline all im stuck on is one random screenshot and the rest of the timeline shows a plain green background and no video plays. Any suggestions?

I’ve always been putting it as a MP4 and this problem started to occur last week but it used to always work before that

Ok i see…. Tell you what, close out all your programs,
cleanup your system a little and do a restart and go again.

Alright, I did what you said and still no luck. Even when ahead and re installed some of the programs I used for video capturing and editing and still no luck with SV11 :/ If I record a video about 10 seconds long it will open up perfectly in SV11 but if it’s over that it just gives me a screenshot :[

And this doesnt occur with any other footage Takuya?

Nope, works fine with other footage. What I resulted into doing was using the software HandBrake and used it to convert my videos and then upload them into SV11 and they actually started to work again

Double-check the video settings. Quite a few of the Windows PVR programs record in Microsoft’s “DVR” format, which isn’t usually editable. Can you check you’re recording to something fairly normal, MPEG-2 in a transport or program stream, MPEG-4 in a transport stream or MP4 wrapper?
Just guessing that, if this suddenly started happening, something might have changed on the recording side of things. You can double check, too. Try editing one of your older captures. If that works, then the problem isn’t likely Vegas. Also, check your capture device, reset everything… I know I’ve seen both my video capture devices and actual PVRs crash in weird ways, on occasion. And double check that something didn’t disturb your normal capture settings.
