  Small Audio Problem

  Hi!

  This is my first time here, because I ran into a small problem with Sony Vegas Pro 11 which isn’t really that important for the video, but I find it very irritating. I have an intro for my Youtube videos, which is just a video I’ve made earlier. When opening it with windows media player, the audio is perfect.

  But since a few days, I hear a very small stutter everytime I put it in one of my projects. I can let you hear it, since I’ve uploaded a video that contains that stutter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAOCfhV8_vk

  Maybe turn your volume up, you can already hear it in the very first second, and that’s the only time. There are two little stutters in that second.

  Could anyone tell me if I can fix this? The normal video for the intro on my PC doesn’t have this, but every time when adding it to Vegas, those stutters are there. This hasn’t been like that before.

  If you drop the video that plays well in Media Player on the Vegas timeline, what does your audio look like?

  Can you see the stutters?

  Do the stutters show up anywhere else?

  This might be a youtube problem. You might fix this by adding a second of black with a really low pitch, very low volume hum, so low that it is undetectable. If that stutters no one will hear it.

  Just a wild thought.

  Unfortunately that doesn’t help. The 2 stutters are actually there right at the time you hear 2 notes. I have really no idea why this is happening now, I must’ve done something… The video/audio itself when playing it in any player is fine, but when putting it in Vegas those 2 stutters can be heard, and it wasn’t like that from 3 months ago until a week ago… Youtube has nothing to do with it though, since this is only a problem in Vegas itself.
