Activity Forums Adobe After Effects CS4 and mxf files

    Finally got around to getting some shooting some mxf files. When I go to Import the files into CS4 the footage is full of gain. I shot the footage in 480/30fps. Does anybody know the best settings to use in After Effects for this type of footage. Thanks in advance.

    MXF is a container (wrapper) format. There can be all sorts of different kinds of footage inside of these files. We’ll need to know what kind of video footage you have in those MXF files before we can be of much help.

    Todd thanks for your quick response. The footage was shot in DVCPRO50, so it should be compatible. The footage looked great through our monitor while shooting but once I take it into After Effects it gets the grain.
