Using VP 11 latest build. When printing to tape, the audio level will dip – easy to notice – rendering the tape ver useless. We have checked the deck – no problems there. We are outputting via a Decklink Extreme HD 3+. Outputs fine via the Decklink software alone – just that we can’t include the necessary embedded closed captioning – which is required on the tape.

We have reinstalled Vegas to an earlier build – same problem. Interestingly, this was not a problem with Pro 10 only in 11 – but we can’t take an 11 project back to 10.

We paid for Sony tech support – but they were no help – nice people, just no help. So, here we are – searching for answers in the wide world on Sony users.

Any ideas or better yet, solutions, will be greatly appreciated. A donut will be eaten in your honor, if you help. Solve our problem and we’ll send you donuts.

I still and will continue to use Vegas 10 and as you
mentioned, you didnt have this issue with 10.

You mentioned “we can’t take an 11 project back to 10
Actually in a way you can, by having both versions open and
copying the entire Vegas 11 timeline and pasting it into Vegas 10.
Then you can re-save as a Vegas 10 project and end your audio
    level dip issue.
